About
The Creative Pro behind the Brands that you know
Prior to starting Komjati Design in 2001, my career of 20 years included graphic design and art director positions for companies such as Kay Jewelers, owned by Sterling Jewelers, the nation’s largest specialty retail jeweler; marketing-communications firm Desberg & Associates; and retailers Ivey’s (now Dillard’s), Strouss (now Macy’s) and Fabri-Centers of America (now Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores®). I’m a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Brands I have designed for:
| Belk, Inc. | Jo-Ann Fabrics |
| Cato Corporation | Kay Jewelers |
| Cleveland Bar Association | King’s Jewelry |
| Gunton Corporation | Strouss, now Macy’s |
| Ivey’s, now Dillard’s | The Ohio Bank |
| J.B. Robinson Jewelers | The Timken Company |
Free Time is for the Birds
I’m an avid Birder, an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist and I live and work next door to a Nature Preserve. My obvious love of nature is reflected in my blog, “Warblers and Wetlands.” There you’ll find content fresh from the great outdoors, written on the fly — content that (I hope) inspires you to get up, go out and explore! I’m not a professional writer, so please keep that in mind if you find grammatical mishaps or errant punctuation. I use professional freelance writers for business writing, but my blog is, and always has been, written entirely by me.
